Acupressure Facial Massage Therapy

A treatment that helps to relax facial muscles through massage and acupressure points and promotes overall wellbeing.  Acupressure points are incorporated into a massage treatment with a gentle pressure, to help release tension and support the flow of energy in the body.

Commencing with a facial cleanse and heated towels, followed by a face, neck, shoulder and scalp massage.

Acupressure points are located along meridians (energy channels) throughout the body.

Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatic essential oils blended in base oil or Neal’s Yard Remedies pre-blended oils may be used, such as Geranium & Orange or Soothing blends.

Treatment uses calming Swedish massage techniques such as kneading and flowing effleurage, and facial acupressure.

A full aromatherapy treatment includes body, face and scalp and is approximately 75 minutes.

Aromatherapy is helpful for everyday stress and strain and to promote relaxation, blends being balancing, soothing or restorative in nature.

Massage Therapy (Aromatherapy)

A combination of Swedish, aromatherapy and Balinese massage techniques may be used to help with everyday stress and tension, using Neal’s Yard Remedies blends, such as Geranium & Orange or Soothing blends.

Back, neck and shoulders – massage techniques paying attention to areas of tension in the shoulders.

Back, back of legs & feet – back of body treatment

Back, neck & shoulders, arms, face & scalp – includes facial acupressure and scalp massage

Scalp massage – includes face, neck and shoulders and scalp

Foot massage – includes lower legs and feet

Balinese massage if used may include gentle stretches if appropriate and firm sweeping massage techniques

Facial Reflexology

A gentle and relaxing treatment focussing on reflex areas and pressure points on the face to help release tension for overall wellbeing.

Based on Zone Therapy, where the body is divided into twelve longitudinal zones (as with reflexology of the feet and hands).

Using organic facial oils – Frankincense or Rose.  Available as a 45 minute or 25 minute treatment.

Reflexology treatments activate reflex points relating energetically to areas throughout the body for relaxation and wellbeing.

Indian Head Massage

A treatment that focusses on areas surrounding the head, scalp, face and neck, extending to the shoulders, upper arms and upper back.  This treatment combines traditional Indian and modern Western techniques harmoniously.

Seated to begin and completed with face and scalp massage therapy on a treatment couch.

Using aromatherapy oils (be aware that oil is used on the scalp and hair for nourishment, as part of this treatment).

Helpful for upper body tension, stress relief and relaxation.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a specific form of massage that activates ‘reflex’ points typically on the feet or hands, and also on the face, relating energetically to areas throughout the body.

Specialised massage techniques and pressure points are used during a treatment to release tension in the body, promote deep relaxation and for overall wellbeing.

Treatment includes feet and lower legs with aromatherapy blends.

50 minute full treatment

60 minutes with additional reflex techniques for stress incorporated into a full treatment

Modern reflexology developed from Zone Therapy, where the body is divided into twelve longitudinal zones.  The body was then mapped out on the whole of each foot.  Reflexology of the feet and hands has its roots in ancient practice, as indicated by Egyptian artwork.
